“I respect the decision of Vice President Duterte and wish her well.”
Ito ang sinabi ni Senate President Francis Chiz Escudero hinggil sa pag-alis ni Vice President Sara Duterte sa gabinete ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
“I believe her resignation was inevitable from the time her father, FPRRD, and her siblings and allies started attacking PBBM and members of the First family,” sabi pa ni Escudero.
Aniya, malinaw na ang pagiging tahimik at hindi pagpapahayag ng kanyang suporta sa ilang mga isyu sa patakaran tulad ng West Philippine Sea, ang Bagong Pilipinas Hymn, ang kaso ng Quiboloy at pagtatangkang pag-aresto dito.
“As the Vice President, she has every right to have policy differences with the President and I believe that people love and respect her precisely for that… for having and fighting for what she believes in and for her own beliefs.
I wish her well in this, her new journey as she continues to serve our people as our Vice President,” pahayag pa ni Escudero.
Sinabi naman ni Senador Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa na kilalang-kilala nito si VP Sara simula pa noong bata pa ito na may pagmamahal sa bansa.
“I have known VP Sara since she was little, and I have always admired her selflessness and unconditional love for our country. Whatever her reason may be for resigning as DepEd Secretary, I believe that it was well thought of. I believe it was a choice that took into consideration the best interest of our people, as has always been characteristic of her. Of that I am sure,” pahayag pa ni Dela Rosa.
“I hope she finds peace and comfort in her present situation. Whatever future decisions she is going to make to better serve the country, regardless of function and position, I am always here to support her,” dagdag nito.
Nagtitiwala pa umani ito kay Duterte na tutuparin nito ang kanyang mandato bilang Pangalawang Pangulo ng Pilipinas at tutulong sa pag-angat ng buhay ng bawat Pilipino.
“I fully trust that she will continue to fulfill her mandate as the Vice President of the Philippines and help uplift the lives of every Filipino. After all, beyond her titles, it is her integrity that defines her leadership. And it is this integrity that she shall always uphold,” sabi pa ng senador.
