Nagbigay ng donasyong P1M sina Davao City Rep. Paolo Duterte at ang ACT-CIS patylist sa mga naapektuhang lugar sa Surigao del Norte, Bohol, Cebu at Palawan na sinalanta ng nagdaang bagyong Odette.
Ayon kay Duterte, ang P1 milyong tulong ay ibibigay sa bawat distrito na labis na naapektuhan ng bagyo.
“We are with our kababayans in the Visayas and Mindanao who have lost their loved ones, homes, and livelihoods to Typhoon Odette. Through their Representatives, we have donated P1 million to each district as direct aid to thousands of families,” sabi ni Duterte.
“From the people of Davao, we would like to extend our assistance to our kababayans through this donation. This is a small amount that is incomparable to the lives and homes we have lost but we hope that it can provide support to the victims,” dagdag pa nito.
Una nang namahagi ng tulong ang ACT-CIS sa pamamagitan ng relief operations kung saan namahagi ito ng pagkain at tubig sa daan-daang pamilya sa Agusan.
“We are also in close coordination with the ACT-CIS Partylist in our relief efforts. They have already distributed relief packs (food and water) to hundreds of families in Agusan. Rest assured that we are furthering our efforts to reach even to the remotest areas to ensure that no one is and will be left behind,” ayon sa kongresista.
