“We pray and hope that the effort of the brave and dedicated members of the Philippine Coast Guard to find the missing 11 crew members of MV Strong Trinity will be fruitful. The Marino party-list offers whatever help it can provide to make this operation successful,” sabi ni Gonzalez.

Kinilala ang mga nawawalang seafarers na sina Captain Reynaldo C. Cuyos, Chief Mate Marhoda Leah T. Amora, Second Mate Krissan Dawn N. Labata, AB Seaman Richard Michael M. Baco, AB Seaman Mark Anthony O. Marundan, Third Engineer Fritz Gerald B. Torres, Oiler Gifer F. De Pedro, Oiler Lyle B. Dayonot, Oiler Clyde D. Diaz, Oiler James Carlo I. Into, at Welder Manuelito G. Oliveros.

“As it has already been several days since the crew members went missing, I earnestly request the Philippine Coast Guard to conduct a search and rescue mission to find the missing crew members and bring them back to their families,” sa sulat na ipinadala ni Gonzalez kay Coast Guard Commandant Admiral Leopoldo V. Laroya.

Sa panig naman ng PCG, tinugon ng Legislative Liaison Affairs nito ang sulat ni kongresista at nagsabing “a search and rescue is ongoing with the participation of family representatives present aboard M/Tug Excellence.”
