Makakaasa ng tulong kay Vice Presidential aspirant at Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte ang mga micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) sa sandaling manalo ito sa May elections.
“I am one with you in finding and establishing measures so that the provision of our law are effectively implemented and that our goals are achieved,” sabi ni Duterte sa online caravan ng MSMEs.
Nabatid na aabot sa 99 porsiyento ng MSMEs ang bumubuo ng mga negosyong tumutulong para magbigay ng trabaho sa bansa na katumbas ng 62 porsiyento para makabawi sa epekto ng COVID-19 pandemic.
Sinabi pa ni Duterte na hindi lang sapat ang pagpasa sa Magna Carta para sa MSMEs kung hindi naman ito masusing maipatutupad.
“We must ensure that the laws are fully and properly implemented in a timely manner,” aniya pa.
Idinagdag pa ni Duterte na ang MSMEs ay madalas na itinuturing na underprivileged sector dahil sa kawalan ng tulong mula sa mga financing organizations.
“In my experience, MSMEs din po ang pinakanaiiwanan kapag merong problema. Unang-una, wala talaga silang access sa capitalization at financing dahil hindi man nila magawa ‘yung mga requirements ng bangko at ng financing organizations,” sabi ni Duterte.
Ayon pa dito, dapat na bumuo ng resilient programs ang gobyerno at samantalahin ang mga makabagong teknolohiya.
“We must try to build resiliency in the face of an unpredictable global economy due to climate change and the possibility of the emergence of future pandemics, as well as the rapid transformation of our society brought about by the advances in technology,” sabi pa ng alkalde.
