Nagbabala si LAKAS-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD) vice presidential candidate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte sa mga supporters nito na mag-ingat sa pekeng UniTeam identifications cards na ibinebenta sa halagang P20.00 bilang membership fee.
Sinabi pa ni Duterte na walang katotohanan na ang UniTeam standard-bearer na si dating Senador Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. ng Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) ay namamahagi ng P5,000 bawat indibiduwal kung may UniTeam ID.
Pinabulaanan din ni Duterte ang mga kasinungalingan na ikinakalat ng ilang grupo para siraan ang UniTeam at ang kandidatura nina Marcos at Duterte na ngayon ay nangunguna na sa mga survey.
“We call on the public not to believe these claims of certain groups about an ID that is worth 20 pesos and there will be grant of P5,000 pesos from the presidential candidate of the UniTeam, Bongbong Marcos,” sabi ni Duterte.
“These are not true, this is a scam. So, if they know of any information about this, they should immediately report it to us, the UniTeam, so that we can appropriately act on it,” apela pa nito.
Itinanggi rin nito ang ulat na mamamahagi si Marcos na P5,000 sa bawat botante sa sandaling magtungo ito sa Mindanao.
Sa halip ay pinasalamatan ni Duterte ang mga Filipino sa suporta at pagpapakita ng pagmamahal sa kanyang buwanang biyahe sa 34 probinsya mula hilaga hanggang timog ng bansa.
“I will never forget the warmth of the Filipino people we met along the way, and I will always remember the courage, the strength and the resiliency they’ve shown as we passed by rain or shine,” sabi pa ni Duterte.
Nagpasamat din ito kay House Majority Leader at Lakas-CMD President Martin G. Romualdez sa nagng suprta nito sa kanyang country-wide tour kung saan ipinakalat nito ang programa at mensahe ng pagmamahal sa bansa at pagkakaisa at pag-asa ng UniTeam.
