“It has been a little more than one week since we concluded the 2022 national and local elections in the country. Last May 9, our people marched to their respective precincts to perform their right of suffrage. Democracy is indeed alive in the Philippines as ordinary Filipinos chose our nation’s next leaders,” sabi ni Go.
“I am happy that the elections had been successful and generally peaceful. While some election-related violence and incidents are being reported, be assured that the government is on top of the situation and will bring justice in order to uphold the sanctity of this democratic exercise,” pagpapatuloy nito.
“With the support and cooperation of our citizenry, we pray that the next term will continue to provide a safer and more comfortable life for all. Do not forget that the government’s success is the success of every single Filipino,” apela pa ni Go.
“I would like to emphasize the need to continue the programs and reforms initiated by President Rodrigo Duterte that continue to benefit the Filipino people. As I have mentioned before, the election is not only about choosing the next leaders who will help chart the future, but also about continuing the positive changes that were brought by the administration before them,” dagdag nito.
