Nagpalabas ng lookout bulletin ang Bureau of Immigration (BI) laban sa driver na viral ngayon sa social media dahil sa pagbangga at pagsagasa sa isang guwardiya sa Mandaluyong City.
Ayon kay BI Commissioner Jaime Morente, natanggap na nito ang 3-pahinang kautusan ni Department of Justice (DOJ) Sec. Menardo Guevarra para i-monitor ang galaw ni Jose Antonio Valmonte Sanvicente, na sinasabing driver ng sports utility vehicle na sangkot sa hit-and-run sa biktimang si Christian Joseph Florade sa Julia Vargas Avenue.
Nabatid na ang Immigration Lookout Bulletin Order (ILBO) ay inilabas ng DOJ base sa hiling ni Mandaluyong Assistant City Prosecutor Jofre Z. Andrion, na maglabas ng lookout bulletin laban kay Sanvicente kaugnay ng kasong Frustrated Murder at Abandonment of One’s Own Victim.
Ayon kay Morente, may natanggap itong impormasyon na si Sanvicente ay may planong umalis ng bansa kung kaya’t agad na inilagay sa BI system ang pangalan ni Sanvicente para malaman kung aalis ng bansa at malaman kung saan ito pupunta.
“The alert has been encoded in our system and will allow our officers to monitor his travel if encountered in any airport or seaport nationwide,” sabi ni Morente.
Nilinaw naman ng BI na hindi naman pipigilang lumabas ng bansa si Sanvicente ngunit sa sandaling mangyari ito ay agad na ipababatid sa National Prosecution Service, sa DOJ, at sa Office of the City Prosecutor ng Mandaluyong City.
“The ILBO is for monitoring purposes only, and it orders the Bureau to be on the lookout for the subject. If encountered, the BI is instructed to coordinate with the National Prosecution Service, the DOJ, and the Office of the City Prosecutor of Mandaluyong City to determine the appropriate action to be taken thereafter,” paliwanag ni Morente.
