Epektibo na mula Hulyo 16, 2022 ay wala nang expiration ang mga official receipts at invoices.
Ito ay sa pamamagitan ng inilabas na Revenue Regulations (RR) No. 6-2022, ng Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) kung saan inaalis na ang five-year validity period sa lahat ng printed and system-generated receipts/invoices.
Sinasabing ito ay bilang pagsunod sa Republic Act (RA) No. 11032 o mas kilalang “Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018” at bahagi ng kampanya ng BIR na pag-aralan ang mga polisya at business processes upang mapahusay at mabawasan ang financial burden ng mga taxpayers.
“This invoice/receipt shall be valid for five (5) years from the date of the Permit to Use” and “Valid Until” at the bottom portion of the system-generated receipts/invoices shall be omitted,” ayon sa BIR.
Ang Authority to Print (ATP) principal at supplementary receipts/invoices kasama ang serial numbers at paggamit nito ay wala nang expiration, kasama na ang validity date sa manual receipts/invoices ay tatanggalin na.
Ang lahat ng system-generated receipts/invoices na inilabas na kahalintulad sa inaprubahang Cash Register Machines (CRM) at Point-of-Sale (POS) machines at system/software with corresponding PTU/AC ay mababalewala na rin.
Ngunit ang nasabing CRM/POS machines at system/software generating tulad ng receipts/invoices ay kailangang muling i-reconfigured.
