Sinisiguro ng isang kongresista na makakakuha ng suporta sa mga mambabatas ang iminungkahing mga hakbang sa lehislatura na binanggit ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa kanyang kauna-unahang State of the Nation Address (SONA).
Ayon kay Iloilo Rep. Julienne “Jam” Baronda, mula sa pagbibigay ng karapatan sa gobyerno hanggang sa muling pagpapasigla sa sektor ng agrikultura, hanggang sa pagtatatag ng virology institute, at sa pag-amyenda sa batas ng EPIRA ay tiyak na makakakuha ito ng suporta ng mga mambabatas.
Aniya, ito rin ang nais na isulong ng mga kongresista dahil ang mga ito ay makikinabang ay taumbayan para magpapaganda ng kanilang buhay.
“I am most glad that he mentioned that he would champion the creation of economic zones in the regions to help spur the local economies outside of the national capital. We re-filed our Metro Iloilo Special Economic Zone on July 1, 2022 precisely because we want to reboot our economy through this long-term solution. I am excited that our dream may finally be realized,” paliwanag pa ni Baronda.
Ang pagtutok umano sa mga regional specialty hospitals na idineklara ni Marcos ay magdudulot ng kaligayahan dahil sa pamamagitan nito ay lubos na magagamot ang mga sakit sa puso, baga, bato, utak, at cancer sa Western Visayas Medical Center.
Sinabi pa ni Baronda na nagagalak din ito sa pagbuhay sa Panay Railways na magandang balita para sa mga Ilonggos.
“The roadmap he laid out on the issues of OFW welfare, the economy, the environment, education, disaster resilience and preparedness, defense, and foreign policy deserves our full support,” sabi nito.
“We wish Pres. Bongbong Marcos, Vice Pres, Sara Duterte, House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, Senate President Migz Zubiri, and all the members of both houses of the Philippine Congress and Cabinet officials the best of luck as we all do our respective tasks in bringing about a better Philippines,” dagdag pa nito.
