Iniulat ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) na natapos na ang farm-to-market road sa Barangay Tarrag, sa bayan ng Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte.
Iniulat ni DPWH Region 1 director Ronnel M. Tan kay Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan at Undersecretary for Regional Operations Eugenio R. Pipo, Jr. na ang proyekto na may pondong ₱11.7 milyon, ay sumasaklaw sa pagtatayo ng isang 671-meter road at 756-meter open canal.
Gayundin ang paghuhukay, embankment, portland cement concrete pavement, reinforcing steel, structural concrete, pipe culvert, grouted riprap para sa canal lining at stone masonry para sa slope protection.
“The road project is expected to boost economic activity and improve accessibility going to and from the business center. Furthermore, it is connected to the Maligaya provincial road to enhance interconnectivity within the province,” sabi ni Tan.
Ang Tarrag farm-to-market road project ay ipinatupad ng DPWH Ilocos Norte First District Engineering Office sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni District Engineer Glenn C. Miguel.
