Arrest warrant vs Marie Antoinette M. Santillan
ISANG warrant of arrest ang ipinalabas ng Mandaluyong City Regional Trial Court laban sa babaeng negosyante na nagtakbo umano ng P11 million.
Sa arrest warrant na ipinalabas ni Judge Aileen Saquing-Agacita, presiding judge ng Mandaluyong RTC- Branch 213, ipinaaaresto ang akusadong si Marie Antoinette M. Santillan, residente ng 1006 Manors Celebrity Place, Old Balara, Quezon City.
“To the any officer of the law: You are hereby commanded to arrest MARIE ANTOINETTE M. SANTILLAN who is/are said to found in/at 1006 Manors Celebrity Place, Old Balara, Quezon City or elsewhere and who has/have been charged before me with the offense of ESTAFA (Art 315) (2) (d), RPC, and bring him/her/the, forthwith before me to be dealt with according to law,” sa warrant of arrest na ipinalabas ni Judge Saquing-Agacita.
Inirekomanda ng hukuman ang ‘NO BAIL’ o hindi puwedeng magpiyansa ni Santillan.
Pinadalhan ng kopya ng arrest warrant ang station commander ng Quezon City Police District, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) at iba pang ahensiya ng pulisya na pakay ngayon ng manhunt operation.
Nabatid na si Santillan ay sinampahan ng kaso ng biktimang sina Napoleon Chua at Christopher Magsino.
Nabatid na taong 2018 nang utangan ni Santillan sina Chua at Magsino ng halagang P11 million upang pondohan ang real estate development project ng akusado sa Porac, Pampanga,
Kapalit ng ipinahiram na pera ay nag-isyu si Santillan ng post dated check kina Chua ng halagang P9 million (Check No. 0065436) at Magsino ng P2 million (Check No. 0065407).
Naganap ito sa Starbucks, SM Megamall Building A sa EDSA, corner Julia Vargas Avenue, Mandaluyong City.
Matapos magamit ang perang ipinahiram, tumalbog naman ang tsekeng inisyu ni Santillan at hindi na ito nagparamdam para bayaran ang mga biktima.
Sa limang pahinang resolusyon na inilabas ng Mandaluyong City Prosecutors Office, sinabi ng piskalya na malaki ang pananagutan ni Santillan upang kaharapin ang kasong bouncing checks (BP 22) at Estafa case kaya ini-elevate ang pagsasampa ng kaso sa Mandaluyong City Regional Trial Court.
“Respondent failed to heed the demand upon her to make good on the checks she issued to complaints, warranting her indictment under bouncing checks law.”
“Her defense anew of not receiving any notice of dishonor or demand is a matter best addressed to the sound discretion of the court.”
“Viewed, here , it is recommended that respondent Marie Antoinette M. Santillan be indicted for two counts of Estafa under Article 315 paragraph 2(d) of the Revised Penal Code and another two counts of violation of Batas Pambansa Bilang 22 (Bouncing Checks Law),” bahagi ito sa resolusyong iniakda ni Senior Assistant City Prosecutor Romualdo Francisco at pinagtibay ni City Prosecutor Bernabe Augustus C. Solis.
Sa ngayon ay nagtatago si Santillan na sinasabing hindi na rin umuuwi sa mga bahay nito sa Binondo, Manila; Concorde Village sa Parañaque City; at kanilang tahanan sa Bgy. 172, Caloocan City.
Dahil sa pagtatago, itinuturing na ‘Wanted’ na si Santillan.
Pinag-iingat naman ang lahat na makipagtransakiyon dito upang hindi na sila mabiktima pa ng milyong piso.
