Nadagdagan pa ang mga lokal na opisyal, kabilang ang tatlong mambabatas na dating miyembro ng Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) na sumali sa Lakas-Christian-Muslim Democrats (CMD), na ngayon ay nasa 89.
Personal na pinanumpa ni Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, pangulo ng Lakas-CMD sina Reps. Richard Kho, Olga Kho, at Wilton Kho kapwa ng 1st, 2nd, at 3rd District ng lalawigan ng Masbate, at 17 alkalde at municipal vice mayor.
“We are elated to welcome our colleagues and local officials, who, we believe, share our deep commitment to help our beloved President, Ferdinand Marcos Jr., further grow our economy, create more income and job opportunities, and make food products accessible and affordable. In sum, to make life generally better for our people,” ani Romualdez said.
“We thank them and our local officials for joining Lakas-CMD,” aniya.
Nanumpa rin si Mayor Kristine Salve Kho ng Mandaon, Masbate bilang mga bagong miyembro ng partido.
Sina Khos na pinakahuling Lakas-CMD members mula 20 araw nang 10 dating miyembro ng PDP-Laban officials ang sumanib din kabilang sina Senior Deputy Speaker and Pampanga Rep. Aurelio “Dong” D. Gonzales Jr., Pampanga Rep. Carmelo “Jon” B. Lazatin II, Siquijor Rep. Zaldy S. Villa, Parañaque City 1st District Rep. Edwin L. Olivares, Pasay City Lone District Rep. Antonino G. Calixto, Zamboanga del Norte 2nd District Rep. Glona G. Labadlabad, Cebu 2nd District Rep. Eduardo Roa Rama Jr., Camarines Norte, 2nd District Rep. Rosemarie Conejos Panotes, Agusan del Norte 2nd District Rep. Dale B. Corvera, at Caloocan City 2nd District Rep. Mary Mitzi Cajayon-Uy.
Gayundin sina Nueva Ecija 1st District Rep. Mikaela Angela Suansing at Cagayan de Oro City 1st District Rep. Lordan G. Suan na dating miyembro ng Nacionalista Party (NP) na ngayon ay nasa Lakas-CMD na.
Aabot din sa 15 mula sa 16 na alkalde ng Aklan ang sumanib sa Lakas-CMD na sina Charit Navarosa ng Libacao, Rex Gubatina ng Madalag, Noel Redison ng Banga, Denny Refol Sr. ng Altavas, Jeseryl Templonuevo ng Numancia, Gary Fuentes ng Tangalan, Jose Miguel Miraflores ng Ibajay, Ma. Fe Lasaleta ng Nabas, Froilan Bautista ng Malay, Concepcion Labindao ng Buruanga, Jessica Panambo ng New Washington, Lenette Fernandez ng Lezo, Josephine Equiña ng Malinao, Dexter Calizo ng Balete, at Juris Sucro ng Kalibo.
Pinangasiwaan ni Romualdez ang oath-taking sa simpleng seremonya sa Social Hall ng Office of the Speaker sa Batasan Complex sa Quezon City.
Sinaksihan ang kaganapan nina House Majority Leader at Zamboanga City 2nd District Rep. Manuel Jose “Mannix” M. Dalipe at Agusan Del Norte 1st District Rep. Jose “Joboy” Aquino, gayundin ng iba pang miyembro ng partido.
