Natapos na ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang isinasagawang proyekto para sa bagong state-of-the-art na convention center sa Barangay Bagumbayan South, Navotas City.
Tinaguriang Navotas Convention Center, ang five-storey building project ay kasalukuyang 70 porsiyento nang nagagawa at target na makumpleto at mabuksan sa publiko sa Abril 2025.
“The Navotas Convention Center Project will be equipped with a standard size basketball court, air-conditioned function rooms, cafeteria, and parking facilities, and will have over 4,000 seating capacity,” sabi ni DPWH National Capital Region Director Loreta M. Malaluan, base sa ulat ng Malabon- Navotas District Engineering Office.
Bilang karagdagan, ang pasilidad ay nilagyan ng mga amenities na kinabibilangan ng sound at lighting system, ventilation system, fire detection, at alarm system, automatic fire protection at fire exit facility na sumusunod sa mga umiiral na batas, tuntunin, at regulasyon sa pagtatayo ng gusali.
“With its combined modern architecture, and versatile design, the building is poised to become a center for various community activities, and services, boosting local economy in Navotas City,” sabi ni Malaluan.
