Nagpalabas ng abiso ang Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) sa publiko na pansamantalang isususpende ang consular operations sa ilang tanggapan nito sa Hunyo 12 at Hunyo 17 sa buong bansa.
Sa inilabas na kalatas ng DFA, walang consular operations sa DFA Aseana, Consular Offices (COs), at Temporary Off-Site Passport Services (TOPS) Sites nationwide sa Hunyo 12 at Hunyo 17, 2024, dahil sa inilabas na Presidential Proclamation No. 368 na may petsang October 11, 2023 at Proclamation No. 579 na may petsang June 4, 2024.
Ito ay idinedeklarang regular holidays ang Hunyo 12 bilang Araw ng Kalayaan at Eid’l Fitr (Feast of Sacrifice) sa Hunyo 17.
Magbubukas naman ang regular consular operations sa Hunyo 13 at Hunyo 18.
“Affected applicants for consular services with confirmed appointments on 17 June 2024 at DFA Aseana and Consular Offices (COs) will be accommodated from 18 June 2024, Tuesday, to 18 July 2024, Friday. Meanwhile, affected TOPS applicants with confirmed appointments on 17 June 2024 will be accommodated at their respective Supervising Consular Offices (SCOs) from 18 June 2024, Tuesday, to 18 July 2024, Friday. Said applicants are instructed to follow the same time slot of their appointment,” ayon sa DFA.
Suspendido naman ang Passport Releasing Service Center sa Double Dragon Meridian Park, sa Pasay City sa nasabing mga araw.
