Pinasu-subpoena ng Senate Committee on Women, Children Family Relations and Gender Equality at ng mga senador si suspended Bamban Mayor Alice Guo kasama ang ama nito at pinaghihinalaang ina at mga kapatid.
Sa pagdinig, nagdesisyon si Senador Risa Hontiveros, chairman ng nasabing komite na nag-iimbestiga sa Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs), matapos katigan nina Senador Sherwin Gatchalian at Senador JV Ejercito ang subpoena kay Guo, sina Lin Wen Yi, Guo Jian Zhong, Sheila Guo, Siemen Leal at Wesley Leal Guo.
Kasama rin sa mga inisyuhan ang mga opisyales ng Zun Yuan Technology na sina Walter Wong Long, general manager, Jonathan Mendoza, spokesman, at Nancy Jimenez Gamo.
Gayundin ang mga opisyales ng Lucky South 99 na sina Michael Bryce Mascarenas, Stephanie Mascarenas, Rodrigo Bande, Xiang Tan, Jing Gu, kapwa mga incorporators ng nasabing POGO hub sa Porac, Pampanga.
Kabilang din sa sinubpoena sina Jaimelyn Cruz, presidente ng Zun Yuan Technology Inc., Roderick Paul Pujante, treasurer, at Juan Miguel Alpas, chief of staff ng nasabing kumpanya.
Ayon kay Hontiveros, nagdesisyon itong ipa-subpoena ang mga nasabing mga indibiduwal dahil sa kabiguang dumalo sa pagdinig hinggil sa POGO hub sa Bamban, Tarlac, at sa Porac, Pampanga na sinalakay ng mga awtoridad.
Sa nasabing pagdinig, inilabas ni Hontiveros ang kopya ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) clearances ng dalawang pangalang Alice Leal Guo, na kapwa may kapanganakan na Hulyo 12, 1986 sa Tarlac.
“Is it a coincidence that this NBI clearance was applied for just a few days before the date of filing of the delayed registration of birth of the other Alice Leal Guo in Tarlac City? or is this a case of stolen identity of Miss Alice Leal Guo when she already has a valid-issued investor’s visa that will allow her to stay here? Who is this girl whose name is Alice Leal Guo but doesn’t look like the mayor. Where she is now, tanong ni Hontiveros.
Samantala, nanindigan si Senador Grace Poe na dapat nang tuluyang i-ban ang POGO sa bansa dahil sa masamang idinudulot nito sa bansa.
“”I just want to say that it shows that there is corruption, and people in the government have been involved. There are talks about national security risk, but let’s not divert the issue on what the POGO actually does,” sabi ni Poe.
“Today, I reiterate my call together with our colleagues that have signed the resolution that has been proposed by Sen. Win Gatchalian. Please we have to ban POGOs,” giit nito.
