EducationUSA, the U.S. government’s official resource on U.S. higher education, invites prospective students from the Cordillera region to join its free “Study in the United States” information session on September 23 at the Baguio Burnham Suites in Baguio City.
During this in-person event, EducationUSA advisers will guide students and parents on undergraduate and graduate programs offered by American universities and colleges, application processes, financial aid opportunities, campus life, and other useful resources and practical tips for Filipinos seeking to pursue studies at U.S.-accredited higher education institutions.
Interested participants may register through https://educationusaph.org/InfoSession.
On September 21 and 22, EducationUSA will also be offering advising sessions for students at various high schools and universities in Baguio City, such as Brent International School and St. Louis University.
As it expands its reach across the country since resuming its in-person activities in Metro Manila and Cebu this year, EducationUSA also invites Filipinos to join the upcoming EducationUSA Fair 2022 on October 8 at the Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila.
This event, to be organized in-person for the first time since 2019, will gather several U.S. higher education institutions, testing organizations, and advisers to answer aspiring students’ U.S. education-related queries.
EducationUSA provides free advising services to prospective international students in more than 170 countries and offers students resources and tools to help navigate the five steps to U.S. study: researching schools, identifying financial aid opportunities, completing applications, obtaining a student visa, and preparing for departure.
There are more than 4,700 accredited higher education institutions in the United States, and an EducationUSA adviser can help students narrow their options, define their priorities, and plan their college careers.
EducationUSA does not offer scholarships but can assist students in identifying scholarship and financial assistance opportunities.
