Nagbabala ang Military Ordinariate of the Philippines (MOP) sa publiko laban sa isang lalaki na nagkukunwang pari para makahingi ng donasyon.
Ayon kay Bishop Oscar Jaime Florencio, walang nagngangalang “Fr. Aries Aguilar” sa military diocese at hindi dapat na kilalanin.
“He has never been connected with us ever since. Any claims and/or transactions he enters into using our name is, therefore, fraudulent and anomalous,” sabi nito.
Panawagan pa ng obispo sa mga nakaugnayan ng nasabing pekeng pari na agad na makipag-ugnayan sa military diocese.
“Please notify this office for further assistance and for any legal actions to be undertaken, if necessary,” ayon sa obispo.
Nabatid na ang MOP ay hindi lang nagsisilbi sa mga Katoliko sa Armed Forces of the Philippines, kundi sa Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) at sa prison service.
